I had an older model of this printer that went out with a bad print head. When I saw this one online for the same price of a new print head, I decided to buy this printer for parts. Great print quality in both black and in color. I have three of these printers and they all work great and one of the best parts is they all use the same ink cartridge so I don't have to but a lot of different types and I can trade them around if need be; Too bad HP does not still make this printer as it is 300 percent better than the newer models. HP 8600 Printer works great....

I purchased this printer because my old one stopped scanning more than one page at a time. So I figure I'd try another of the same model and just swap them.
It works perfectly and I just had to add some cartridges to fill the color needs.
