Great tasting
My cat is very finicky eater. It is very hard to get him to try new foods or take medication. However, he take his "Cat Lax" very easily. I just squeeze about a half inch amount onto his food three times a week and no more hair balls. I am very satisfied with this product. My daughter worked at a vet office for years and she is the one who told me it was a super product. Sincerely, Betty McGowanRead full review

Better than other brands
The manufacturer stopped distributing this in Australia - why? We tried two other brands and our cat refused to eat it. He preferred to walk around with a smear of muck on his paw - that's how much he hated them. Cat Lax is a great product and has kept our elderly constipation-prone cat from needing another vet visit for months so far. Definitely recommend this product, even if you have to source it from outside Australia. The benefits more than outweigh the shipping cost. We have a happy cat!Read full review

The best we have found.
We got this from a vet years ago. There are many similar products but this is the only one we have found that the cats take willingly. We have had 4 cats over time. They have all loved the taste and texture of Cat Lax, and have all rejected the other brands. It does help the cats quickly when they have hairballs and digestion / elimination issues.
Cat Lax is a little pricey for the amount you get in a tube, which is why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.Read full review

Does it's job
This definitely gets the job done when you have a picky eater on your hands that NEED TO EAT!! I just wanted to make sure that my picky teacup poodle avoid hyperglycemia under all circumstances. Any time we leave the house, I make sure I take this just in case and he does not hesitate to lick it all up. For my teacup, I just put some on the tip of my finger and it does the trick. The small tube seem a little pricey; however, we have not had a hyperglycemia episode = PRICELESS!Read full review

Fantastic Cat Lax!!!!
I have looked for quite awhile for a replacement for Cats Pride cat laxative from Puritans Pride, since they quit carrying it. I finally found the Cat Lax , which my cat took to with no hesitation, just licking it right from the tube. This is an excellent product, which I highly recemmend.Read full review

DECHRA FOR FUR BALLS
DECHRA CAT LAX IS THE BEST STUFF FOR FUR BALLS. IT WORKS QUICKLY. I HAVE 2 SHORT HAIR FERALS; ONE HAS CHRONIC ISSUES WITH FUR BALLS. BOTH LICK IT FROM MY FINGER. WHOMEVER IT WAS THAT SAID TO PUT IT ON THEIR PAW---DO NOT DO THAT. THE FIRST THING A CAT DOES WHEN SOMETHING LANDS ON THE FOOT IS SHAKE IT OFF!!! THE PRODUCT GOES FLYING AND SOMETIMES IT'S DAYS BEFORE YOU FIND WHERE IT LANDED. BY THEN IT'S LIKE DRIED GLUE. I'VE WIPED IT ON THE LEG AND SHOULDER; THEY'LL RUB IT AGAINST THE WALL OR DOOR MOULDING. SO PICK A SPOT WHERE THEY CAN GET AT IT EASILY, INSIDE OF LEG WORKS. I'VE PUT IT ON TOP OF THEIR FOOD AND THEY GOBBLE IT UP. WHEN IT'S PRESENTED I SAY CARMEL, HAVE SOME CARMEL SO THEY KNOW WHAT'S COMING. I'VE USED THIS PRODUCT FOR SEVERAL YEARS.
