This is my second Scrabble Express which I have used since 1999--my husband found a vintage 1999 game on line--CHEERS to the next 20 years of enjoyment--a great way to pass time while waiting or traveling or using up time productively during TV commercials!! It was a happy find under the tree this year!! I am a happy wordsmith!

This game is 81 squares, not the 225 squares scrabble players learned on. You play mainly with consonants, as vowels are few and far between in this game. The express game is limited to 8 turns, not bad in itself, but when you want practice at playing scrabble, this game does not cut it. OK for waits at airports, in a doctor's waiting room, or a long sit on the throne. Not for real scrabble players. There are better practice gamers for those who love the game of scrabble.
