Incra I-Box is perfect for me
The Incra I-Box takes much of the tedium out of box and finger joints. I like to carve boxes for gifts and personal use. Pre-made boxes are limited in sizes and wood selection. Now I can make boxes of the size I want out of the woods I want. The assembly instructions are fairly clear and the joint instructions are fairly clear as well but it takes a little practice to get things right. I use my I-Box on the table saw with a dado blade but it can be used on a router table as well. The I-Box is well designed as one familiar with Incra should expect. I also have an Incra miter gauge that I absolutely love. If you desire to expand your woodworking capabilities, I strongly recommend the Incra I-Box (but get the miter gauge first😉). Read full review

Worth the price to make varying box joints
As someone coming from a homemade box joint jig, which worked perfectly fine, I wasn't sure whether this would be a good upgrade for me. I'm just a home hobbyist, but I find myself going to the box joint for small boxes all the time. The problem with my homemade jig is that it was a single width-nonadjustable, and getting it dialed in each time took a fair amount of time.
Enter the Incra. After assembling, I was making solid joints in about 15 minutes. The fact that I can use my regular dado for a 1/8" joint is a bonus, as that works even better for smaller boxes.

Another terrific Incra product.
I've never been disappointed in an Incra product, and this box joint jig is no exception. Cleanly machined, very accurate, capable of micro-adjusting. Miter slot adjustment didn't seem to work properly, but even so it was a fairly snug fit in my table saw miter slot. Also works with routers. Better than Expected
The Incra I-Box after initial assembly and set-up allows accurate finger/box joints of any dado size to be quickly cut. Knowledgeable crafts persons aware of miter slot guided jig performance know all variables but finger width are removed with a well-built jig.
The Inca I-Box gives precise control of repeatable cut width across the joint eliminating the progressive error compounded by even a slight maladjustment. The ability to easily control the actual finger width to less than 0.001-inch (one thousandth-inch) across the width capability of this jig is better than I expected.
