I've had this on for a couple weeks now, but not long enough to get an electric bill. I can't imagine how this wouldn't be a net positive, being that my water heater is now off 15 hours a day. Fantastic Digital timer for your heavy electric load

Bought it over ebay and using it for my 55 Gallons water heater. Very easy to program, in few clicks and you are done for 7 days on/off program. I must say it is excellent product for the price.

Nice water heater timer.

Relatively easy to install (if you're comfortable with 240VAC wiring). The item I just bought replaced an EH40 that worked reliably for 13 years -- one of the two relays in that unit eventually failed, so I replaced it with an identical one. Programming was simple. Fits in the old style box

I didn't have to change the old timer box, just change them out. But it is a very time consuming process to set up the times to operate the water heater. The directions were poor.

Especially for a well pump

I purchase this unit to run my well pump at designated times it does a very good job running my well 6 times per night to keep my 2000 gallon tank full use this unit and a float switch and you can keep your tanks full without draining your well for slow Wells!Read full review
