Low reception low transmitt . Had to get a kl203 to pre amp and 40 watts bairly transmitt 5 miles .

It works but very poorly .

Item came in good time. Upon hooking up I had an SWR of 1.5 on channel 1 and raises with each channel. By the time I reach channel 10, its 2.4, at channel 40 its 3+. Changing the length makes no difference. I bought this to replace a lil wilson that had a crack in the base causing a 2.2 SWR. The ten year old broken wilson performs better.Read full review
