Versatile tool
This is a big brute for big jobs! It is particularly useful for reaching gutters and fascias without the risk of climbing ladders and can be used with a rotary brush if necessary; but if they are very dirty you might need to climb and clean them by hand the first time. After that the brush/jet will clean them every year without problem. Be aware that when fully extended and used with a powerful jet washer (say a K9) the weight of the lance and brush combined with the backthrust of the jet makes it a job for someone with strong arms and body and it is not easy to maneuver the business end with delicate accuracy; you will almost certainly get wet. K’archer 4m telescopic lance
Arrived quickly, but minus carry strap. Quick contact supplier, no quibble and missing strap received 2 days later. Mast easy to assemble, light, easy to handle and will reach 1st floor gutters and windows. With help of a ladder, also hope to be able to keep my PV panels clear. Cool extension
My neighbour needed their gutters cleaned and I watched as they paid a man £150 to clean them with a pressure washer and telescopic lance.
As mine also needed doing I thought I could do it myself and proceeded to look for a telescopic lance to attach to my existing Karcher.
Paid approx £100 - one off investment so can do them again!
Takes a bit of getting used to as the pressure forced down with the gutter adaptor tends to force the extension up and away to force the whole lance backwards towards the ground - but bit of pressure forcing it down into the gutter somewhat cures this.
Also without the gutter adaptor you have access to out of reach areas with full pressure.
