This unit does a decent job in good reception areas. It struggled in built up areas. However for price it is recommended. However if you're really serious go for a external roof mount unit

The other car aerial which i have used was a similar styled Aiwa aerial The performance on this aerial is somewhat poor . The designs are vastly different but the addition of a ground plane makes the difference. OK to use in London but not outside the signal cuts off whilst you are moving I am going to fit another Aiwa aerial on this car.Read full review
