Good log splitter
Have used a few times, and so far has split everything with only a few stalls. Operating instructions give no indication about how to resolve jamming of the mechanism when a it fails to split a log completely and the mechanism is stuck. Also end cap of the clutch was a loose fit and fell off. This would allow dust into the clutch causing wear and possible failure. Easily fixed by securing with a large hose clamp. Heavy to move around by hand using the tow bar. Much easier with a jockey wheel.
Overall good value and certainly very effective and fast. Can easily split a half ton of eucalypt in around an hour. Pine, wattle, casuarina all effortless. Knotted pine is just sheared through. Requires winch or crane to assemble, and is supplied with lifting eye bolts.Read full review

Fantastic splitter
Have used this splitter to split quite a few ton of wood. Handles everything with ease. Motor starts first pull if you turn off the fuel when finished. Easy to wheel around and hitch. Recommend this splitter highly. Don't bother with hydraulic. Well made.Read full review
