Good product but the display is pretty bright. Doesn't stop me sleeping but if I do wake through the the night the room is well lit. I would have liked the option to use the iPod clock for controlling (more alarm options) the alarm to play through the speakers, as you can only set the Xdock alarm for the same time every day unless switched off.Read full review

Only one volume for the alarm - VERY LOUD!!!!

Nice design, looks good, good as a clock....however....unless you like your alarm clock very loud I wouldn't recommend this.

Bought it to replace a broken docking station and to fit a 30 pin I-pod, which it does but you cannot control the alarm volume no matter what you use (buzzer, radio or iPod) it just come on VERY Loud. Even if you put your iPod volume to minimum, there is no difference.

E-mailed the company and they stated that "Unfortunately there is no way to adjust the alarm volume with this item"

So, if you want to be shocked into life in the morning then this is the clock for you. If, on the other hand you wish to be gently awakened to the sound of your music I would look elsewhere.Read full review

This clock radio has great sound and is very compact my only niggles are that the volume on the alarm seems to be preset and the clock display goes of if the radio is switched on it may just be that l haven't read the instructions properly, but for the money excellent value.Read full review

Older needs

I found it difficult to get one to take my iPod Nano 2nd Gen particularly in white, so I was delighted with this.
