We make a Lithuanian pasta with meatballs that is a family favorite for special occasions, The pasta maker helps cut down on a great deal of the labor involved in producing 100's of these meat filled pastas required to feed a number of family members. The pasta maker also helped with uniformity of the pasta so that all pastas and meat cook in the same amount of time. We enjoyed using the new pasta maker and look forward to the next special occasion more than ever! Cleaning the unit was a bit more difficult that one would imagine as the dough can end up in unusual areas. works better than the original one we bought before. That one that broke internally. Much easier to clean pasta that is left in machine after its use with the holes on bottom. Older machine didn't have any holes on bottom so pasta pieces were always left inside rollers. Extricating with toothpick didn't work when they were larger to slip thru the small side opening. Wow, no more rolling the dough

Instead of rolling the dough, I just put it through the machine twice on its thickest setting. It was just the right thickness to make the dumplings. Wow no more rolling the dough. Very pleased and it was alot quicker than rolling with a rolling pin. It also fit good with the dough press.Read full review
