Medical knee scooter
A good alternative for someone who lacks the coordination to use regular crutches, or in my case my wife had a foot and shoulder injury at the same time and couldn't take the pressure of a crutch under her arm. Bonus is when you're done with it, the grandkids love playing on it.Read full review

Roll on!
I bought this apparatus prior to having Achilles tendon surgery. After putting it together, which was very simple, I practiced a little bit to make sure that I would be able to use it. It allows me to be more mobile and not have to be in a wheelchair all day long. I am glad I purchased it. Read full review

Lifesaver
This is really way superior to using crutches whether it is short term or long term. There was one problem with it though. It kept having to be retightened. Also it does not break down quickly nor easily to be loaded in the car. Plan on leaving it intact and loading it in the back of an SUV.Read full review

Scoot my way
I bought two of different brands. I would have to say hands down I love this one the best. Only drawback would be that the wheels leave marks on the of you force turns.

knee scooter
nice and compact to move between objects , yet wide enough you don't tip over. Best feature is the easy fold down handle bar to put into the car when traveling.

Why you should not by this scooter
The turning radios is not good the front wheels are not far enough apart the rear tires are not close enough together you hit the ball of your angle on them it has a solid rear axil and it does not want to turn. It is just cheep made mine was shone to be a white one and I was sent a silver one.Read full review

Lifesaver!
This is my third foot surgery and my third knee walker. This is a complete lifesaver. I can fold it and get it in and out of my back seat alone, with a little fancy footwork. I tried to use crutches, NO WAY. Please help yourself and buy the knee walker. The other two sold for as much as I paid for them, so they are worth the money. Will not lose value!Read full review

OK for smooth stuff, horrible for sidewalks/streets
Great for very smooth surfaces in-doors. It is very sensitive to any cracks, bumps or debris, so be VERY careful riding it on outdoor city sidewalks, bike lanes or streets. The Baltimore city sidewalks and streets are too rough for it and I fell a few times. I would have paid more if it had bigger wheels and was more sturdy. Read full review

An absolute "life saver" because I can't use crutches. So lightweight and easy to use. Kept my surgical foot protected while I rolled along.
