It works well and I can easily and quickly tune the rig from the drivers seat. Success!
The YT100 is now installed in my Prius along with the Yaesu FT-857D and the early tests are wonderful. The 857 has a detachable face plate near the driver and the radio is in the back under the hatchback. My early choice for a tuner worked, but it didn't have a remote activation.
The YT-100 integrates well with the 857 plus it has a remote tune feature.

Fast tune.
So far I've only had it a few hours, but I put it though it's passes. I was able to tune in all the bands ( except 6m) my end fed isn't made for that band. In only seconds all the bands were tuned right in. Only thing is they don't mention that after you reset you radio settings, you need to turn it off and on again.
