Would be great with some adjustments - it is quite useless as it is now
The tines get filled up quickly, after 3 pushes or so. The bottom side of the tubes should be slightly narrower than the rest of it - this would prevent the soil stuck in the tubes (diameter of the soil cones are smaller, than the diameter of the tube).Read full review

Avoid!
This simply doesn't work. The tines become clogged after a couple of prods into the ground and are a devil to clear. You'll spend more time unclogging them than doing any work. It's a good idea but simply doesn't work. It's a fairly well made tool, but a poor design.Read full review

Poor Quality
One of the tines on this broke off after an hour or so of use.
I have had to continue with a four tine device which just about works. The earth plugs do not come through the tines much so in fact you are pushing holes into the ground rather than cutting them.
Not very good but I am having to use it.Read full review

Not as good as it could be
The construction is of a reasonable quality. You spend most of your time removing the cores from the product. The corer tubes need to have a slight flute to them to allow the cores to be pushed out by the next core. As this is a manually operated unit it is time consuming effort to remove the cores after each time. Read full review

good item but beware
the actual aerator is solid and well made but beware my soil is heavy clay and you have to spend half your life poking the clay from the aerator!

Well made but totally useless
Simply doesn't work - may penetrate sodden ground but certainly doesn't work on dry soil - times get jammed on first use - totally useless

Not usable on more compacted soils
The ends of tines of received aerator are not the same, that on the offers picture. Same diameter through entire tine.

good but needs elbow grease to remove compacted earth
good, although the tines get filled up quickly with immoveable compacted earth - not sure what to do about this
