Great Lego Star Wars set for fans of the movies. You are able to re-create iconic scenes from the movies, with iconic characters. Excellent play set, or display piece. Took about 20 hours total to build, but was worth every second. A lot of excellent play features, with an excellent look to it. If you are getting this for a younger Star Wars fan, make sure to help them with building, as the building isn't complicated, but can be tricky at certain parts, and takes a lot of patience. This set has a lot of features and references to the films. It has a variety of rooms from the Death Star in the films, ranging from The Cell Block where Princess Leia was captured, the Emperor's Throne Room where the final duel between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader took place. This set will give any Star Wars fan many years of enjoyment. Definitely recommend this set.Read full review

Should be a great challenge for my grandson.
My grandson is a huge Lego Star Wars fan. When he told me which Lego sets he really wanted... this set was at the top of his list. He talks about this set every time we get to see each other. He always says the set is too expensive and he will probably never get it. Since I am the grandpa, I felt it was my duty to grant my grandson's wish to own the Lego Death Star. Although a bit pricey, this set is absolutely awesome if you are a fan of Star Wars. I bought this set for my 8 year old son and we have had a ball assembling the model and then playing out the scenes from the iconic movies.
