Lasko 754200 Ceramic Portable Space Heater with Adjustable Thermostat

I love it!! I just wish I knew beforehand how much energy it used considering my apartment.

First off, I really do love this heater. It is small, but it puts out a lot of heat... I live in a 2 bedroom apartment that only has a heater inside of the (very large) living room (stupid & highly annoying) and the bedrooms are freezing at night. I live in Long Beach, Ca and it has been so cold at night. So i decided to buy a little heater for my room. I have an average size room & It only took about an hour or so to warm my enter room to the point that I got hot & had to turn it down... I used it at night for about 4 nights in a row. But 2 nights ago it actually overloaded the circuits in our apartment (We have a really old apartment). We called our electric company and they told us it was using way too much energy so that was the outcome... This turned into a bigger issue which we found out we had faulty wiring in our apartment... But when I do use this heater again I will be a lot more careful with how long I use it and how high... However, I feel like if you live in a newer apartment building or a house you definitely shouldn't have to worry about it overloading the circuits. Great value for the money

It doesn't look like much. In fact, it's smaller than my last heater. However, I have yet to use the second setting on it with the higher output of power because I have not needed it. As long as I stay at a fairly close distance, it works on half power just fine. Full power would probably burn my skin off. You can't beat it.Read full review

Lasko heater

I bought this heater based on reviews and I’m a “fan” of Lasko. I’m using it in a 27’ RV. It’s 45 degrees outside and I have the inside of the RV at 74. For such a compact heater and as many windows the RV has I’m very satisfied. My only concern was whether it would pop the breaker. I have used it on all settings, repeatedly turned it on & off, and couldn’t get it to even make a light flicker. This is my third lasko purchase and I have no complaints.Read full review

Impressive Little Heater

I was surprised by how well this heater works. I use it to heat up my craft room and it does a good job really fast. If i leave it for 30 minutes before I plan on being in the room, it's ready to go when I get there. On especially gold mornings I pull it into the living room to help our main heater heat the biggest space in the house and it is a big help. 30-40 minutes and the whole house is warm. The only thing I don't like about it it that it doesn't have a sensor to turn it off if it gets to a certain temperature, so if you forget about it and leave it on for an hour or two, the room is a sauna! But it is perfect if you want to warm up a room in a short amount of time.Read full review
