A superior, film noir movie in every way. It's well crafted, has an intriguing story, and is well directed. Gene Tierney, Dana Andrews, and Vincent Price were all terrific in their roles. I have taken a liking to these old, B &W movies. They were low-budget, crime dramas but most had the best actors and directors the studios could muster.
