Small and compact

I brought this scope for my Hatsan BullBoss to keep it as light as i could.Really nice scope light and easy to handle. The parallax is a little stiff but manageable. Has a nice clear view, but the distance doesn't match with a numbers on the parallax adjustment knob. but no big deal still works great. I would buy another if needed.Read full review

by TOP CRITICAL REVIEW

Okay, but limited

Purchased the scope for a Ruger 10/22 which is a very common 22 Long Rifle. Since the scope is very short it has only small area for the rings to mount, so I had to purchase a new full picatinny rail for it to mount it. After mounting it I realized it was too far forward for good eye relief, and I had to put my hear WAY too far forward to see through it, and at 12 power it was not sharp, it was very difficult to shoot with this scope at full power. Returned it, not satisfied. Had a lot of good stuff included, but the lack of eye relief made this a no-go for me.Read full review

Overall this is an impressive little scope, holds zero, great range of adjustment

I use this scope now on all my airguns. I was using the MTC Viper Pro until I built my own custom, light weight .22 PCP airgun. The MTC was way too heavy, big, and intrusive (see pics). I found the bug buster and ordered one in. For hunting it's perfect. Good glass, great eye relief, good field of view. I range and dial nearly every shot and shoot out to 100 yds with this little scope. It tracks accurately and has a large amount of MOA adjustment. One turn on the turret is something like 22 MOA. It's perfect for what I need. I am hitting silver dollar sized targets out to 80 yds easily thanks to the great turret tracking and amount of adjust ability. It weighs around 8 ounces vs a couple of pounds for the MTC Viper Pro. This reduced weight alone makes a huge difference. The one real down side is that the clicks are 1/3 MOA and not a 1/4 per click. It would be nice to have a little more resolution past 80 yds and the 1/3 MOA is sometime just coarse enough to cause a miss (shooting at very small targets mind you). Shooting a .22 airgun out to 100 yds it's roughly equivalent to shooting a powder burner out to 1000 yds in terms of MOA adjustment. I've hunted in pretty low light and at the ranges I use it at, it's been great. Plenty of light to make a good shot.

Overall this is an impressive little scope, clear from 3-12X, Good field of view, decent reticle, large amount of MOA adjustment, Side focus (nice focus wheel available too for $15 or less), very light weight, and Holds 0 perfectly.

Good scope

I bought this without the illuminated reticle on purpose. I really like the construction. The included glare tube is excellent. Although I am using the Q.D. Mounts supplied I will be changing them out for a permanent mount. But that is a personal preference. I am using this on a DPMS AR 10. Zero issues thus far and the side focus (parallax) is awesome.Read full review

UTG 3-12x32 Bug Buster

It’s quite small and light but seems well built.Bought this scope for the Hatsan Bullboss because the weight of the air rifle and it looks good. After a while the side focus number doesn’t match the actual yardages when brought into focus but it’s not a big deal.Others than that everything so far so good and work well.

Light, small and target turrets all good

Good scope for the money, light small and target turrets. I like the size and adjust-ability. The Mil dots are rather small, I found them hard to see. the mounts are ok, not great, a little large and the quick release handles either face fwd on the left side or aft on the right, directly over the ejection port - not the best location. maybe it's too small for my intended use on a AR platform. If the Mil dots were slightly bigger and the mounts a little better/smaller I would give 5 stars.Read full review

Great compact scope

I have several bug buster scope but this is my favorite. It's really compact, I love that it's 12 power. It allows my to do very precise work with my Walther LGU varmint, and since my gun is already heavy this scope doesn't add much weight. The convenience of the side focus is nice. Also it's a very good scope for the money.Read full review

Excellent value for the price point. On the heavy side but still manageable.

Easy to setup and use.

Mounted it to the picatinny rail on my Diamondback DB15. Easy to zero in. It took me 6 rounds. The mil-dot retical allows you to zero at 50 and use the dots as aiming points for holdover at 25 and and holdunder at 100yds.Read full review
