In a Good Way...You Get What you Pay For!

I have always used LinkSys Routers. They are easy setup and have a range of specs and prices. The EA8300 fits right in the middle with both. My house upstairs is about 40' end to end and because of certain conditions I have to have my router on one end of the house. I just came from a EA3500 dual band and with that router on the other end of the house passing through 3 walls I barely could use my WiFi signal at the other end. Having replaced the 3500 with the 8300 my signal is greatly improved. Nothing changed except replacing the device I now have about 1/2 my 50mbps bandwidth at the other end of the house as compared to the full 50mbps up to about 1/2 the distance. I am pleased with this router and I'm sure if I want even better signal and performace all I have to do is spend the extra money from something like the EA5400. Great For My network.

I have been only using it a few days, but it was very easy to install, I have a collections of difference devices that use it at the same time and I have not had any kind of hang or any problem with my wifi that I use to have.
