Lisle broken spark plug remover

This tool worked well but there were a couple of concerns. When pushing the broken insulator far enough to make room for puller to attached to the remaining part of the plug it invariably broke the grounding electrode and a portion of the insolation ceramic would brake off and be left in the cylinder. The other concern is that the thread of the pulling part of the tool galled on the first plug but it did it's job and all plugs were removed.Read full review

Triton owner must have!

This is a must have when changing plugs in your 5.4 f-150. Broke 5out of 8 plugs off in my block without out having purchased this when buying my plugs and coil packs I would have been up a creek. Tool is a bit cumbersome until you get the hang of it but it will do the job even on the hardest to get to plugs! ( I broke both of them!!)Read full review

This tool is great. There are videos on YouTube that give good techniques to use it on the multitude of bad things that can happen in the 4.6 3 valve, and 5.4 3 valve when it comes to changing plugs.

best idea since sliced bread

Don't know what I would have done without this tool. Three out of eight plugs broke but the Lisle tool got the plugs out without issue.The alternative would be to dismantle the top half of the engine.You couldn't buy the gaskets for reassembly for what the Lisle tool cost.
