Great Webcam. Ability to adjust White Balance a huge plus

I upgraded from the Logitech C525 Webcam. The C930e image quality is much sharper. Setup was simple. Personally, I don't like the interface of the new webcam controller software as much as the old Logitech version. The ability to manually adjust the White Balance is a big advantage. In the evening, with normal lighting, my old webcam made things have a yellowish tint. great picture! ... fair sound recording

This camera captures a great image! But sound the recording is fair for average conversations.

The audio is terrible for recording instruments. Playing an instrument it phases/flanges with every strum of a chord.

The audio problem could either be from the mic being stereo hardware or the recording software. I tried different settings but no aval.

Good but could be great!

Overall a good webcam. My only gripe is the mounting setup making it clumsier than it should be to sit on top of a monitor. Better use on a tripod, but tripods are challenging for the right height. You want a webcam to be at your eye level or slight above in my opinion. This one needs a tripod to do that well, but I'd rather a way to sling it over the monitor so that I appear to be looking at the camera when using a screen for teleprompting! It’s pretty good for you money. Easy to use. I Just plug it into my Mac. And it automatically switched it to the camera. Has pretty wide lenses and looks good.
