Logitech G502. Amazing looks, performance and features
The G502 is an amazing mouse. It has a DPI switch right where it should be so that you can get more control when sniping or other situations where you need more precise control. It has so many programmable keys that even if you play RTS or MMORPG games you should have enough key bindings to choose from. The RGB sections on the mouse are programmable with Logitech's own software that allows you change the pattern and colour on the fly. You can pick from breathing, colour cycle and solid colour, with an RGB colour wheel to select individual colours for the breathing and solid colour modes, as well as the colour saturation and brightness with sliders. The 5 included 3.5g weights are a great inclusion, as I like my mice to be very heavy as a personal preference. The ability for me to change this down the line is an amazing feature that I'm glad is included. The hyper-scroll wheel is a lot of fun. I haven't come across a lot of uses in games as of yet, other than to switch weapons ridiculously fast in CS:GO, Battlefield 4 etc. Overall, this is an amazing mouse for the price point and includes features you would expect from higher end computer mice. Beware however, it can sound scratchy if you move it too quickly over a hard gaming mouse pad such as the G440 by logitech that I also own. Read full review...

A Very Solid Mouse for the Palm-Gripper
I came to the G502 from a Rapoo V900, and prior to that a Gigabyte Aivia Krypton mouse. I had had a long, solid experience with Logitech mice, but was ready for a change and Logitech were slow(er) than others to release a new slew of rodents based around the high-DPI laser sensor I enjoy.
While initially adjusting the grip position was slightly awkward, due to a wider 'abdomen' than on my previous mice - and buttons pitched further forward, I settled in after a couple of days' worth of extended sessions and was soon praising the mouse for it's excellent design.
I am a big fan of thumb glides, and the one on the 502 is just the right size and at just the right height to not induce fatigue due to excess pressure, but hold the thumb well and prevent slippage.
The main buttons are huge and responsive, although I do find I need to inch my fingers forward just a teeny bit from 'natural' fall to get best response.
I can take or leave the shoulder buttons, the DPI adjust set are mushy and a bit light, the thumb ones require a little too precise locating initially, but work well after your hand adjusts to the positioning a bit more.
The wheel is good. It's slightly weighted, ratchets well and free-wheels just as well as other Logitech mice. The weights are small enough to not really matter, and I'm not a huge fan of the magnetic latch to cover the weight bay - the 'drawer' arrangement on older Logitech rodents was more sturdy.
I picked up this mouse with a matching Logitech G-series cloth mat, and LGS has pre-defined profiles for cloth, hard and generic surfaces. While the 'cloth' profile worked well initially, I soon found the mouse skipping or dramatically losing sensitivity mid-game. Switching away from the pre-baked Logitech profiles fixed this, and the mouse has tracked perfectly since. Your mileage may vary, of course.
Overall despite the initial harsh looks and learning curve, the G502 has proven itself a sold performer and comfortable after the honeymoon period. For the price, it is excellent value.Read full review...

Goddam amazing
Such a great mouse! It's comfortable. The buttons are not mushy at all (which is what I expected). The 'infinite scrolling wheel' option on the mouse is a feature I never thought I'd use as much as I do, I simply love it. The ONLY complaint I'd give the product is the 'normal mode' on the scrolling wheel. I found it to be a bit loud when scrolling. Obviously if you have headphones on you won't hear it but in a quiet environment, it can get disturbingly loud. Other than that, it is a perfect mouse with an amazing amount of useful features. I can certainly say I am happy with my buy.Read full review...

Amazing mouse
This mouse is one of the best mouse I have ever used both for gaming and non gaming. It is very comfortable even for small to medium sized hands and using both palm and claw grip. The heavy weight is very good for gaming as it minimises lifting the mouse. All buttons are very each to reach and easy to program using the program from the logitech website. The bottom is non slip on my cloth mouse pad and there is no friction. The RGB lights are very vivid. The mouse body made out of rubber and matte finish feels very good to use and does not get those oily finger marks some glossy mouse get.Read full review...

Quick Thoughts
Excellent gaming mouse. Closest thing to the old Logitech G5 that I've been able to find. Logitech lost their way for a while after the G5, IMHO, but this is precise, great feel to all switches, good size and shape for my medium sized hands - equally at home on Shooters, Strategy and RPGs. Also good for precise work editing movies and photos. Good range of weights - I like a very heavy mouse, so I am using all the weights and it gets there for me, unlike some others. 3 year warranty and good software round out the package. For mine, 5/5, same as the G5.
Shallothead? Very professional Seller and great value, I see the price has risen, I guess because the AU$ floats around, but still good value at just under a ton.Read full review...

Top Mouse!!
Its very hight quality built. The extra buttons work like magic and the RGB lighting can be set to match the look of your desktop which i didn't think was that big of a deal when i bought it, but I love this feature now. The mouse itself sits very comfortable in my hand even though I have big hands. Sensor of the mouse is highly accurate. Just buy this mouse and im sure you'll love it too.Read full review...

High quality, nice looking and handy mouse.
Nice looking, high quality and comfortable to use mouse. There are a number of extra buttons which are easy to reach.
The only negative issue is a bit slippery wheel. Its metallic surface is not that convenient to use, i.e. I have to control my efforts to rotate the wheel without pressing it.Read full review...

Great mouse at exceptional price
This is a fantastic mouse priced extremely well. Fits the hand nicely and is comfortable to use and the ability to adjust the weight to your comfort level is fantastic. The only critical thing I don't like with the mouse if the mouse scroll wheel, if you set the mouse lock then the wheel is extremely hard to turn. Idea is good where unlocked you can get the wheel to roll for days but with it locked it is just too hard to move. This may get better with use though.
The disco lights on the mouse is a great aesthetic feel and just adds to the value of the mouse, but wouldn't be something which sells the product and I won't notice it over time anyway.
Summary is excellent product and great price and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good value mouse.Read full review...

Fantastic Gaming Mouse
My favourite mouse - been using it for gaming and general PC use since the G502 Proteus Core and recently updated to the G502 Proteus Spectrum which is just as good as the original. Adaptable weight, changing DPI on the fly and an ergonomic design all mesh together to create a near flawless experience. I also tend to change my mouse grip based on application and the G502 easily accomodates. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a general FPS/Gaming mouse.Read full review...
