Great gaming headset
In comparison to Turtle Beach headphones I've owned in the past, I much prefer these Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset with 7.1 Surround Sound. They are light, very comfortable, and have excellent sound. I really like the easily adjustable sound roller on the side of the ear cup. The stand for the USB is round and allows you to keep your desk neat by winding the charging wire around it.
Two things that keep me from giving a 5 star rating are as follows:
1) The power button is fairly small and hard to find. There is also not an audible sound to let you know you've been holding the button down long enough to turn them on.
2) You have to manually unplug the USB dongle to produce sound from your speakers, even if the headphones are off.Read full review

Completely disappointed, TWICE
After only 11 months my first head set began acting odd. Battery showed completely discharged all of the time. Okay, I can use it wired. That was good for about 7 weeks, then it began making loud and sharp popping noises that not only were in my headset but would broadcast over team speak even when I had the mic muted. I contacted Logitech and by the time I got a call back I was hours away from the house and they wanted me to run diagnostics. I tried to get back with them when I was at home over the following week and was on life-long hold. So, thinking I just had a bad unit and that I found the sound quality outstanding I purchased a second headset. God, what a waste of money! This one wouldn't charge right out of the box. Three weeks and the mounting for the right ear cup broke so the cup flops around. Four months and I have to mute my self on team speak because the continuous obnoxious sounds it transmits makes it impossible for anyone else to hear anything when I am active in the channel. The sound will randomly drop to near nothing then go full. Sometimes the volume control works sometimes not. Last night the mute button on the headset stopped working.
As a long time active player in WoT and a clan officer in one of the original clans, I would strongly recommend NOT using this product or thinking that customer support MIGHT pick up the phone.Read full review

Feels kind of cheap, but it is great for its price.
I have had this headset for about 2 weeks now and I really like it. I had some doubts because it is only $40 but I was not disappointed. I've heard a lot of people call it "Just another cheap gaming headset" but I think it is perfect for any average consumer. If you are looking for a very good sounding headset I wouldn't buy a gaming one. I would recommend a normal headset without a mic. The faux leather earpads feel really good but they can get sweaty after a while, especially in hot weather. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because it is very good for its price but it didn't really blow me out of the water, it is far above a "cheap gaming headset" but it is not perfect. The ear cuffs are kind of loose and would feel a lot better if they were more stiff. Besides that it feels good, looks good, and works good.Read full review

Meh.
Although the build quality is great and the 7.1 surround sound is great, the lack of volume ruins the experience for me. Even at max volume it's like listening to music at 50% volume...wireless is great too. Decent life, about 8-10 hours of battery life. Super comfy ear cups block out background noise well. Issues fixed with some tinkering
Out the box the headset comes with a few issues; loose mic and disconnecting problems. I searched online how to remedy these issues. For the loose mic simply remove the 5 screws on the left ear and tighten the mic screw with a phillips. DONE. The disconnecting issue took some time to fix. I tried a lot of the YouTube fixes but to no avail. Turn out the Micro USB that comes with the headset is TRASH; poor connect charges the battery intermittently and with a low battery comes disconnecting issues. DUH. I replaced it with a high quality Micro USB that came with my Steam controller and haven't experienced a disconnect since.
As far as sound quality these headphones offer Grade A 7.1 surround performance. The stereo option does make the sound a bit quieter but as a casual gamer I prefer the 7.1 sound anyway.
After fixing my issues I ordered another one for my wife and she hasn't had an issue.

Pretty good at a discount
Purchased a refurbished set for $32 with discounts. Out of the bag it was delivered in, the Micro-USB charging port is iffy and has to be at a perfect angle to charge. Also did not pair with the remote out of the box and didn't come with instructions, so I had to find them on the Logitech website. They are quite comfortable with good sound.
