Great Remote

I got this remote for 2 reasons, the 1st was to eliminate the multiple remotes currently use and the 2nd was something easy enough for both my wife and I to use...it fills both requirements

The normal keys were fine but the keys I programmed often sent three commands.

The normal keys, on/off, volume, play dvd, etc, were fine. When changing channels it went 3 channels at a time, after three or four days that went away. I still cannot switch from normal to surround sound so I keep the old remote for that. I use this on a ROKU TV so I keep the old remote to switch back and forth between apps. Needed a Backup

I needed a backup to my old Harmony 650. It's a shame Logitech isn't making these anymore - in my opinion, it's an extremely well designed device.

The only criticism I have of the remote is that it's made of hard plastic that can easily slip out of your hand. I have tile floors, so great care is required. You can buy silicone slip-skins for it, but this slipping problem could have been alleviated by just changing the original surface.Read full review

As with all Logitech products it seems to be well built. I had a bit of hesitation buying something that sounded so complicated to program. After having to backtrack on some of the devices, I was able to get almost everything working. It even had my 20 year old Kenwood surround sound system in their database. Reasonable remote with great features

I had wanted a Logitech Harmony for quite some time but I could not justify paying over $100 for just a remote. I gave this one a shot given the low price tag, and I am so glad I did.
