Story is not that great, but Gameplay is fun! Must buy for LOTR movie fans!

Although the story is a bit lacking in originality, and with scenes very jumpy, making it a bit confusing when an encounter happens, the gameplay is pretty fun! You follow in the footsteps of the Fellowship, with different characters forming a different group, and help pave a path for the Fellowship to accomplish its mission in this turn-based LOTR RPG (same style as Final Fantasy). The game follows the movie trilogy, and it's pretty fun to explore, so to speak, for the game is linear, Peter Jackson's vision of Middle-Earth, which, to me, looks and sounds better than LOTR games based directly off the books, even the newer title and its sequel. This game is definitely worth the money, especially at the price it is now, if you like fun and challenging games. Even though I keep expecting the game to get easier as I progress through the game, it adjusts the difficulty accordingly as you continue playing the game, giving me a run for my money, on the "Hard" difficulty (something I find rare, especially amongst recent games). This is a great and fun game, and I recommend you buy it, especially if you're a fan of LOTR and its movies.Read full review
