Lucas for me.
Thought I would give this a go. Read over 300 reviews, 98 % positive. Ex mechanic, I'm a bit of a sceptic regarding additives. Have used another well known brand with good results. In all honesty, Lucas wins hands down. My vehicle is a 2004 Toyota Prado 3.0 diesel with 258,000 km. Just finished a round trip from Sydney to Melbourne return totally 2,500 km. Car started better, ran smoother as I am also using Lucas Oil Stabiliser & was an even better pleasure to drive than it normally is. I am now a Lucas convert. It works that's it.
I've been using this Lucas additive since leaded petrol was taken off the market. It stops the green coating that forms in carburetors with unleaded fuel that blocks the pilot jets because they are so small.
It is a life saver when used in carbureted engines that are only used occasionaly.Read full review
