It a very sturdy/solid unit. it is heavy and works well. however I am a little disappointed at the fact that it does not improve the speed of my trains.

This is my second unit. Love them. Freedom to move around the layout plus momentum control. Much better than a regular transformer.

I like everything about this throttle. Handheld, momentum, and especially the braking. Braking is essential for realistic switching work. There are a lot of conditions (dos/donts) for startup and operation to protect the circuitry, I guess. Read the manual carefully, as suggested by MRC.Read full review
