I've always liked the Mini Maglite; I've used them for almost 40 years. Each one I've had has lasted for 15 - 20 years, and they are made to take a beating. It's easy to carry in a shirt or pants pocket, and the feature I like best is being able to focus the beam. I've found that it can it can illuminate objects 100 feet away.
