Super Easy Set-up - Cut the cable cord & save some $$$

I've purchased these units before & wanted to cut the cable cord on my older analog tv sets. Love the features such as the ability to tune your antenna to the best reception for whatever channel you're watching. Very easy to use & they do the job! GOOD BASIC CONVERTER UNIT, BUT DON'T LOOSE REMOTE

It may have been in ad description, but didn't realize until after arriving that without remote the converter box alone is useless. The old one I owned before had function buttons on the unit itself. This order arrived on time, and in clean basic shape for a used converter, so I don't have any major complaints, other than I pray I never misplace the remote...whew!Read full review

Great for older TVs and for those who want simple.

This converter unit is nothing fancy but gets the job done. It's great for the older TVs( like mine) that have regular RF wire connections but lack HDMI or USB connects. This was the original unit I got when stations were required to switch from analog to digital signals and held up well. My purchase was to replace my original unit that appears to have suffered internal damage after being dropped on the floor.
What I like most about this unit is that it will show you what is coming on in the coming hours. My other RCA box does not have that option. Read full review

Magnavox DTV TB100MW9 Converter

We owned two converters of this model when one finally gave out and had to be replaced. I don't know how many years we have had them, but it is more than a few. The other is still going strong because it gets used less. So we knew what we were getting when we ordered this. The converter scans for available channels in very little time. It has an internal antenna adjustment as well as adjustments for the external antenna. You can choose between three screens, including letterbox. Channel and program titles appear on-screen. The remote is easy to use: you can change channels up or down, or enter a certain channel number. You can toggle between the current and previous channel. I'm sure there are more features but these are the ones we use the most. There is available subchannel access for Spanish audio. You'll know when to replace it because the picture will get fuzzy and it will take longer to warm up. It's usually instant-on so the change will be noticeable. It's great for use with analog sets.
