This was a replacement remote for a lost remote. It was easy to program to the garage door. I just followed the instructions, it only took a few minutes to do. Could not program a second unit using first and three prong device. VEach. Time tried would lose the unit transferring from. Only second one would work.

Good replacement for older similar remote opener.
Initially could not get it programmed. Worked as good replacement after I got support from Marantec America support number 847-478-1500. Was told to try keeping about 1/8” exposed on the pins entering each remote to make proper contact with the circuit boards in each remote and do not try to push pins all the way in. This procedure worked and the new remote is working properly.Read full review

The remote I received is actually the newer version of the Marantec remote, not the one shown in the photo. I was able to sync the new remote with an existing remote by using the enclosed connector and the instructions provided. I searched many places online to find only one remote and to find it at the cheapest price. This remote is exactly what I needed to replace a remote that was lost.
