Fraction of the price but just as good.

I own a Phillips air fryer unit with similar usability (cooking dials, size, etc) and the only thing I can say that the Phillips fryer has over this maxkon is that the handle feels more sturdy.
>Outside of that, it functions basically the same as some of the other well known brands out there but it's a simple unit designed for those who aren't fussed about having the best stuff or are new to air fryers and want to give it a go.

You just set the dials to the temperature and then the timer and it starts cooking. Another difference here is that it has an auto off switch when the tray is pulled out which can be a good thing. The other units I have used keep running until the timer is out regardless of whether or not the tray is in.

The tray design and size makes it really easy to clean which is a bonus compared to other well known brands which have a wire tray.

This unit is also much bigger in size (as well as tray size) so you can easily fit more in at once in comparison to some other units. Can be a good thing as this has a higher wattage heating element as advertised, so it'll fry things much faster.

Overall can't seem to fault anything except for the flimsy feeling handle on the tray. It's as the saying goes. You get what you pay for.

Air fryer

The unit is quite large and does not fit into any of our cupboards. Thought the cooking time would be quicker (chicken legs and chips). Chicken tasted good but the chips were not crispy.

VERY EASY TO USE AND TO CLEAN

I have only had my Maxkon Air Fryer a couple of weeks and so far I am very happy with it. I have cooked chicken drumsticks, chips, sausages, sausage rolls and steak and they have all been delicious and I find they cook faster than the original way. The size of the Maxkon is large enough for a full chicken, although I have not yet cooked one. I am looking forward to cooking a cake and a full size chicken very soon. Great timesaver

We love this 7L machine and learning how to use it, we have done quite a few healthy dinners.

We understand it is a large size so it operates properly but may be too big for storing in most kitchens.

But for the easy cleaning and timesaving factors it is well worth having. We are a family of 3 but it would quite easily suit a bigger family.

Once you do pork crackling in here with no oil needed you will never use a normal oven again!Read full review

A very convienent way to prepare meals
