Great Product, but beware of a small trap if plaing older games.

There are many options for this product, so we all end up buying on price.
Firstly, this is a great product, and the price was good.
Be wary though of buying a generic product like this, when you want to play older games and need backward compatibility of your Xbox. The HDD products from Microsoft have software loaded onto these devices to allow backward compatibility. Like all other generic versions of this device, this does not have the software required, so you need to find it (online or off an old hard drive) and install it onto the hard drive with the use of a specific program and data transfer cable.
If you are only playing games specific to your Xbox version, then this software is not needed.
