Best thing I did today was purchased this wireless dongle.

I play GTA5 on my pc as I'm more on my pc then Playstation.

I am one of those freaks who dislike windows 10 and still think windows 7 is better. Hate the UI on 10 and won't be upgrading for a while at least.

Anyway, installing this took me literally 10 seconds or less. I had to plug the USB dongle on my pc and push the button on the side and saw the white light blinking and pushed the connectivity button on the controller and they paired right up and never had any issues for the last 8 hours I have been playing GTA.

I can't comment on other games as I haven't tried but hey the product works just fine. Only regret is I Wish I had done this long ago.

Works well, wish it had a cable

Obviously it works well to connect Xbone controllers. My major gripe is the dongle form factor. It seems like a major oversight to not have a cable come with/attached to the thing. My roommates have already bent mine from knocking it, as I feared.

I have put it on a separate extension cable since then. But, really, who would be using this like a thumb drive? It should have an extension and maybe a little magnet/antenna. I feat this product experienced a little too much cost cutting in design/production.Read full review

Works perfectly on Win7 x64 with an Xbox One S controller!

Worked natively when I first plugged it in, synced up with the controller no problem. The XB1S controller can also work with a bluetooth adapter, but only with Win10, as Win7 isn't officially supported. I'd tried using bluetooth and some workarounds, but the controller never fully worked until I got this 'OEM' Xbox One adapter. This really made it super simple to use a modern controller on the BEST version of Windows.

Wireless freedom at a worth it cost

I bought this because the usb port on my Xbox Elite Controller was being weird and not connecting to my PC, but didn't realize how just being able to connect wirelessly (as intended0 is amazing. Now I don't need a dumb cable sticking out of my controller and PC. The initial set up was pretty simple, plug and play into my Windows 10 machine. No drivers needed. I think the pairing was the troublesome part and took the longest. Not seamless, but it works now, so no biggie. Having bought this in the bulk packaging, you just don't get the fancy box it comes in. Included is the wireless dongle and a USB extension cable. Mostly no hiccups

Using this to connect my Xbox One wireless controller to a Windows 10 machine. You may have to Google the instructions for connecting your controller once you've plugged the adapter in. It wasn't terribly hard. I had a few experiences where my controller wouldn't connect until I unplugged the adapter and plugged it back in. However, that hasn't happened for a while and I've been able to connect just by turning the controller on. I'm happily using my controller with Win10!Read full review
