It works, kind of.

I've had an Xbox One Kinect before, so I know how it's supposed to work. My last one could always see every move I made, and I could speak normal from across the room and it'd hear me. This one, I'll be playing Just Dance 2018 and half my dance moves aren't registered. Also I have to shout "HEY CORTANA" from inches away for it to hear me. But for the most part, it does what it's supposed to. I Skyped with a friend last week and it was good quality and she could clearly see and hear me. Despite my nitpicks, I still recommend this. I always take the "mint" in any add with a grain of salt. This device was dusty but looked fine after a good clean. Kinect works very well especially for voice commands, i would not pay 150 for it but thats why I shop on ebay, 50-60 dollars is a fair price and well worth the use as a voice controller.Read full review

It may be "vintage" according to Xbox support, but it is still getting my son moving instead of just sitting in front of the xbox.
