While I prefer the clip on wedge that makes the keyboard downwards to the front, she easily removed it on hers so it lays flat on the desk. Bring it back

The best keyboard Microsoft ever made. Have used it 5-6 days/week for upwards of 8+ hours per day. Never any hand problems. So so sorry they dc'd it. Their new version doesn't come close. Makes typing a pleasure

This my third Microsoft Natural Ergonomic key board. As a typist whose been involved the PC for over 50 years, this is the best keyboard ever.
It allows you hands to rest normally at a slight angle which is natural to the structure of our hands & wrists. I wish they offered this orientation for Laptops. Unfortunately the do NOT! Once you used this type of keyboard it is hard to use the one on the everyday laptop.Read full review

Lousy, but useful

This is actually a pretty lousy keyboard, but no worse than the others on the market. The key action is harsh and unpleasant to use if you do a lot of fast typing.

But the layout of it is extremely good if regular flat ones cause arm and hand strain. It really is "ergonomic." My shoulders are way too broad to use a laptop keyboard comfortably, and even with a regular size flat keyboard, I started having pain in my upper arms years ago. A keyboard that's split and humped up in the middle solved that issue almost immediately -- and permanently -- so I've stuck with them for more than 20 years now. Microsoft's is the last one on the market now, and even so it's hard to find. If they discontinue them, I'll have to quit my job.Read full review

Split keyboard is wonderful

I wrote my book, "Fathom," on the first iteration of this keyboard. It was wonderful until I poured an entire pitcher of martinis onto it. This refurbished keyboard is just as good as my original.
