EVERY citizen of the United States of America should see this film at least once, if not even more, and share it with every single American that they know. This is a film that our schools should use in classrooms across the United States to teach our youth the TRUTH about the role Christianity played in the lives and foundation of this great country that we call America. The Pilgrims were willing to risk their lives to escape the King of England and be free to practice and teach the truth of the Bible. In this day of our Government leaders continually trying to abolish the very Biblical principles and values that this country was founded on from the day of it's inception by the original Pilgrims and our Founding Fathers individually and as a group of leaders, it's important for the future leaders to never lose focus on what made this country the World Power it is and work to insure that we get back to those Biblical Principles that were so important in the beginning. This is an incredible movie for Americans of all ages to learn about the struggles and the beliefs of our founding fathers and takes us back to the value system and values of those that helped to found our country and make it great. It lets us know things that were not taught in school - not in MY school anyway - about the true struggles of the founders, the sacrifices that they made, etc. We need to teach these things to our children so that they truly understand that we are the Land of the Free BECAUSE of the Brave!!! It has a strong faith-based theme running through it because our founders (unlike our country today) were faith-based. I never knew the history that this movie revealed to me. It astounded me that the this vital part of our history is not taught and that truth and facts are left out of the education taught in America's schools. After watching this movie I became more angry at our education system for it's lack of courage to teach this in our schools. The FOUNDING FATHERS of our Great Nation had it right, but our current society and government are blind fools! I cannot PRAISE this move enough. This is an excellent documentary film on the facts related to the founding fathers of our nation, and the visions they had to build a strong and free country based on biblical principles and a lifestyle of practical faith. I am amazed at what difficulties the puritans had to endure to break free from a tyrannical empire to practice freedom of their faith and to practice equality of all citizens. I recommend this DVD to all who want to know the true facts of the founding of our nation. Every American needs to watch this video to understand why the US was founded and what the founders had in mind. Some where we seem to have gotten lost. Our values have changed. Critically Important Documentary
One of the most needed documentaries on the market today. Although, it was produced and promoted a while ago, it has not lost it's relevance to our Country today, it anything it is more needed now then when first release. The truth of the Pilgrim's origins, their struggles, their founding principles and the foundations of the principles that the Founding Fathers built our Constitution and Constitutional government on. VERY FEW even know the existence of the pilgrim's memorial, their do know of Plymouth Rock. This memorial is literal blocks away and yet rarely mentioned anywhere.
