Great alternative

I've had this a couple weeks now. I get a solid 25-30 minutes run time. I use the power head mostly in sure just using the dusting would give longer battery life. I also use on high as well.

Time will tell for reliability and longevity. My only concern is with the filter canister the tiny piece of plastic wings that hold the filter cartridge in are tiny and if one breaks you're screwed.

Not good for carpet so I have to use two different vacuum cleaners

This item works great on their hardwood floors but even fully charged and on high it does not have very much suction power. I would go with another brand next time. I still have to get my other vacuum to vacuum my carpet which is frustrating. I feel I wasted my money but too much of a hassle to return

The is a handy little vacuum cleaner. Yes, it is small and must be emptied after any significant job, but not unlike any small tool that is being asked to perform a large task. So far, so good. The charge didn't last as long as I thought it would, though. Also the on/off switch is in a place where I accidently hit it not meaning to. This Moosoo XL-618A is really a very nice unit. I especially like the LED headlamps. The unit is powerful and quiet (well, it's a vacuum, right? - It's pretty quiet for a serious vacuum). The floor sweeper, as is typical for this type of vacuum, is rather narrow, so it's great for smaller areas such as a studio or one-bedroom, for touch-ups, etc. rather than for a larger apartment. I always seem to be cleaning up cat fur, etc so it's great just to grab it and clean without the drama and hassle of unwinding/avoiding/rewinding a cord. In handheld mode it's fabulous for corners, upholstery, my car, and so forth. The only issue I have is that the on/off trigger is placed where my hand naturally grips the handle. It took just a little while to learn to avoid the trigger until I want to turn it on. Read full review

Lightweight & great on hard floors

Great for the money. Great for hard floors - it makes me want to vacuum more!

It's not great on carpet, however. I feel like it's just getting the dirt on the surface - and not really getting down into the fibers and getting a deep clean. I have a different vacuum that's good at carpets and not on hard floors, so I'll use that. But annoying that I can't just have ONE vacuum that I like for everything. Excellent vacuum!

I am pleased with the performance of this vacuum cleaner. It is much quieter than my previous machines and that is a real plus for me; I have a condition called hyperacusis and everything is loud. It had become difficult to use my old Dyson sweeper simply due to the noise level. This is much much quieter. It seems to be fairly efficient at cleaning my carpets but it is not quite as good as my old Dyson (which cost almost 5 times as much). Also, the battery has been able to last for all of my carpeted floors with enough energy left over to handle the kitchen and entry hard surface floors. I have loved having a cordless lightweight vacuum for daily use in cleaning up mealtime messes made by my kiddos. It’s easy to charge and the hook it came with is great for storage.
