Performs faster than any other streaming device out there.

I've owned Roku 3 and Ultra and Amazon Fire Stick and Fire TV and none of them compare to the power of this. Granted, the price is also the highest. As they say, you get what you pay for. Once you go, Shield, you never go back.

This our my second NVIDIA Shield box and we loved it. It might be expensive but it has a whole lot more functionality than Amazon FireStick.

NVIDIA SHIELD is much Smarter than your SmartTV

Upgraded my Samsung Smart TV with NVIDIA Shield and that made huge difference. Before even with Evolution Kit (my model is upgradable) it was slow, sometime even froze so I had to restart it. Now I removed Evolution Kit and use NVIDIA instead of Smart features of TV. It amazingly convenient, blazingly fast, has international keyboard for search YouTube. It remember where you stop watching something on YouTube and when next time you turn it on, it just continue from this place without any manipulations with remote. Fantastic - all I can say.
