Easy install great product
it's an easy install, the only thing is finding your breaker can be a pain as the breaker may be on your furnace itself which may very well not be inside the room your circuit breaker box is in. Also you'll need to know some information about your furnace and AC. All in all it shouldn't take more than an hour tops. Additionally when driving your screws into the nest base use a hand screwdriver, I cracked my base by using a drill even on a low setting.Read full review

Sleek and Sophisticated!
I got the 3rd Gen of the Nest Thermostat and the display is slightly larger than the 2nd Gen. I love how it looks and it matched my modern/minimalist theme. What I love about it is that you can remotely control it via app and it learns when it needs to cool or heat your house up. A bit pricey but, it exceeded my expectation and will recommend it to anyone who is looking into upgrading or purchasing a wireless thermostat.Read full review

Love the features on our Nest!
We love our Nest thermostats. We now have four - at two different houses. My husband and I share them on the app, so either of us can control the settings. The first set is in our home. When we travel, we can review the temperature and adjust the settings. On our way home, we set a timer on our phone to remind us to adjust the air so it's comfortable when we get home. I love that! The second set is installed in my 90 year old father-in-law's house. My husband is a mechanical engineer and installed them himself. We can now monitor the house temperature and schedule the air flow at the house for him. Very convenient. And the rebate from the city makes them more affordable. Great Install and Design
My wife says that a woman must have been involved in the installation design and documentation because she believes that she could have installed by herself! They have thought of everything from identifying and marking the wires from the old thermostat to covering the wholes in the wall left by the old unit. Everything worked like a charm - the install literally took less than 15 minutes and it connected to our WiFi within seconds after selecting the name and typing the password. Best smart thermostat on the market.
Easy to install, the nest app is solid and easy to connect to your Wi-Fi ( only uses 2.4ghz) if you use you phone for location you can allow it to learn your routines and adjust accordingly. In many cases it will function with out the “C” wire (common 24vac) connection. Not all thermostats can do that nowadays. You can use Alexa or Google home to change the temperature as needed or use the nest app or change it on the thermostat itself. Pairs with the optional remote sensors fairly easily. This is a great function as I use a remote sensor upstairs and program it to use that sensor in the evening when I’m upstairs for the night. Highly recommend!Read full review

Nest 3rd generation
A little pricey for a thermostat but I did get a good deal on eBay. I was replacing an older thermostat that had extra wires on it so I called nest to double check on the wiring. I was pleased they answered the phone right away and transferred me to the right person. I had taken a picture of my old set up and emailed it to my nest person who confirmed the correct wiring. Awesome thermostat
The Nest is a thermostat that does complex things but is very simple to use. This is my second NEST gen 3 thermostat and I've been very pleased with how well they function and how flawless the app works. The price on these is a little more that it's competitors but it is very high quality. It has a solid feel to it. I had some issues with the installation due to wiring on my furnace and the NEST tech support was absolutely awesome to work with!!!Read full review

I think its great. Nice to be able to change it no matter where i am depending on the weather. Not too fond of it changing the temps on its own, but ive figured out how to shut off that setting. I got mine here for an amazing price. Alot of people do, but i prob wouldnt of paid $300 for it. Possibly if all the other nest items that worked with it werent equally or more expensive. Just a couple nest items will run u a grand. I like the thermostat alot. Got it new for $130. As far as video cams that work with it, i can get another brand for much cheaper without a monthly subscription.Read full review

Love my Nest in my home.
Before purchasing the Nest I did a lot of research and checked out Ecobe the train thermostats and even the one offered by vivint.
The Nest kept coming out as number one rating so I found this one on eBay for $50 less then retail and purchased.
I absolutely love it, it only took 20 minutes to install and it's been working perfectly ever since.
