Air wave feature is worth the price

Very easy to use interface. I think the air-wave feature is worth the price. The Nest will turn off compressor and leave the fan on to push out the remaining cold air to save money.

Good Product at a Good Price

Used these to replace older Honeywell Chronotherm thermostats. What these made clear quickly is that humidity in one area of the house is higher than it should be unless AC is set cooler than we would like. Suspect that AC is oversized. I set a fixed schedule for both heat and cool, so am not using most of the learning capabilities. Even with a fixed schedule, manually (or with app) lowering AC temperature at about the same time on a few consecutive days does cause the schedule to adapt when learning is enabled.Read full review

I love how much freedom the Nest gives you. You can set an away from home setting that monitors when you leave the house. It doesn't shut the unit off, but enters low power mode that keys your home near room temperature without the added expense. This is a great product that I would recommend to anyone. Nest is easy to install and setup

Nest is extremely easy to install and the setup procedure is very straightforward. Just remember to press the device for enter during setup - not clearly stated anywhere and so I kept pressing the ring! It should cost $150 instead of $250 (full retail price) for what it does - in fact it $50 of it's full retail price for memorial day.Read full review

When it's working it's great.

This was a Christmas present, so it has only been in commission for a week and a half. Husband grumbled a bit during installation -- something about WHICH password did they want, but mostly it went smoothly. The thermostat is in a second home which is often used during heating months (October -- May). Often he will check his phone and it says that the thermostat is "Off-Line," which means that he cannot either check the temp or alter it. He is not sure yet if this is a problem of the product or the data available (i.e., not Nest's fault). Once he has this figured out he is going to be much happier.Read full review

These are without a doubt the easiest way to save money on your power bill. They know when your home so the temperature stays where you want it.
