Great upgrade from AF/35mm film!
I'm still learning all the intricacies of this model, but so far so good. I was semi-professional with 35mm film, and kinda retired after F4s. So far, this body is a great upgrade path to avoid losing $$ already invested in fast APO/2.8 len$e$. Yes, there are newer, faster, better, etc models, but if you don't want to start an entirely new equipment collection this is a great choice. This makes me want to make photographs again, instead of just taking pics with phone.Read full review

Great features and light weight for a dSLR
This camera still a very good option for all proposal pictures. If money it's no objection? Better you go with the D500; otherwise the D7200 will do almost everything that you need and it's a "work-horse"; so you can go ahead buying good glasses, as New Sigma ART 28-70.Read full review

Fantastic D7200 DSLR
This camera works exceptionally well. It takes a bit to get used to but once you get the buttons down (I recommend watching a tutorial) The photos come out phenomenal.
Such good quality , You can tell just by holding it- Some weight to it so it feels premium.
I recommend buying this camera if you're a intermediate-level photographer. For a beginner it might be a little hard to understand.
All in All real happy with this product.Read full review

Love the camera
The camera is nice and has good image quality. Arrived on time. The 70-300 lens dis not open easily at first the rear cover had stuck! Then my husband tried hard and it opened finaly. I contacted customer service two times and was very frustrated at first. However, finaly I could use the lens and its great.Read full review

Good camera, lenses, the rest is junk
It's what you're looking for if you want a good, semipro camera. Lenses are fine. For these essential things, you end up saving up about US $150 from shopping around the individual items.
The rest, the flash is crap, tripod is crap, bag is minimally appropriate. Would add value if you knew you had to get real ones.Read full review

Excellent camera
This is a great mid level DSLR camera. A step above beginner and a step below pro. The controls are easy to use and it is great learning how to take good photos.

Great. Good grip, crisp images with beautiful real colors. Glad I got it.
Just received the camera yesterday and been reading the manual and watching a great video online that walks a D7200 owner to get to know the equipment. Im Very pleased with the image quality. As of right now I'm just learning the camera but it feels great and again the pictures I took of my dogs yesterday when I opened the camera are fantastic...again Im an amateur in digital photography but I'm excited of the camera I choose when there are so many choices out there. I appreciate the reviews of more knowledgeable people in here and because of your reviews I made the decision.Read full review
