Nice System, with some good free content

Pros:
I bought this system primarily to play Pokemon Omega Ruby (which I'm very happy with). But I was also impressed with the included free content. Perhaps, not surprisingly, I'm really enjoying Pokemon Picross and Pokemon Rumble World, and I picked up a few badges from the Badge arcade for free to decorate my Home Screen. Te screen is vibrant , and the touch screen works perfectly. It seems to have a long battery life when not connected to WiFi, which is especially impressive when playing 3d games. Especially at the used price, I feel I got a great deal :)

Cons:
The 3d is a little wonky. I don't know if its just my eyesight, or the system itself (I know the New 3ds models tweak the 3D a bit) but I find myself getting headaches if I use it too much, and I'm not perfectly still. I tend to play with the 3d low or off. Also, the WiFi seems to require a stronger signal to avoid disconnecting. I have trouble with the signal dropping in places where my phone/laptop have no issues. But if I get closer to the router, I'm fine. Not a huge deal io, but something to consider if you need to be connected to wifi and have a weak signal.Read full review

Practically perfect with one small issue

Great Value for a refurb.

Great value, you can tell the unit has had work done to it, and its not perfect, but you cant beat what you get for the price. I think my biggest issue, is that they didn't reset the parental controls. That took some effort to try and figure out what I needed to do in order to reset it. This was one of the best purchases I have made. The graphics are awesome especially with the 3D option. It feels like I'm playing an old school gameboy but also a N64 at the same time. Very Accurate

I'm glad I was able to buy this thing. I used it for parts, and everything went smoothly. I even used the outer shell for my bro's 3ds when I had to rip his off. All in all, the deacription is very accurate and I'm satisfied with it.

As far as the top screen goes, I don't know how to fix it. I mean, the shell and screen are probably the only good parts of it. The wires and ribbons are just completely torn.Read full review
