GBC is great as long as you have the proper lighting. There is no backlight on this product and the front light kits don't seem to work so well. I recommend a fashionable head lamp haha. That aside, the battery life from (2X)AA batteries offers several hours of game play and some pretty decent sound from a small handheld. GBC will play original titles displayed in some color but since they weren't produced in a color format, the coloring is sort of random. Still a new experience when compared to the original GB.
