Game Boy B&W Nostalgia

I bought the first model of Game Boy mostly for nostalgic reasons. I remember playing on one of these in childhood, and would play Kirby’s Dream Land, Pokémon Red & Blue, and other releases whenever I my homework and chores were done. This Game Boy model does not have the greatest picture quality compared to modern standards, but it’s nothing worth complaining about. for what i paid its unbeliveable, and im more or less a expert.

the d-pad and one of the battery contacts seemed loose, screen was a bit scratchy . great price
it felt like a refurb. no currosion on battery contacts, buttons felt good, the shell was in great shape, audio jack worked, tetris was fine.

GameBoy was very clean and in perfect working condition. I could tell from pictures it was in decent shape, but getting it in had, it exceeded expectations. System was clean and buttons were still snappy, cartridges had a nice solid click when inserting. Portable Gaming History - Something to cherish.

It's like I'm a kid again! You can definitely tell the Gameboy is a restored piece because it looks like it went through a time warp from the 90's to today. Barely a few cosmetic scratches around and it works like a charm!

It was a fixer upper but that’s to be expected, it was in good condition

Well, the description said working-tested... and while it powered on it wouldn’t read any cartridges. I cleaned the cartridge contacts I. The GameBoy up right and it played Kriby, so that’s good.
I opened it up, and, lo and behold, the button contacts were worn so thin they crumbled in my hands!!! But old products like these are definitely unpredictable and I’m glad it came in the condition it did. Definitely needs some work tho.Read full review
