Over-Nite Sensation by Frank Zappa (CD, 2012)

Down and dirty Zappa

I tend to put Apostrophe/Overnite sensation together in my mind because I had it as a combo cd years ago but they are two very separate albums. This is totally Frank at his mid 70's best, along with his incredible band at the time creating catchy subversive toe tapping tunes. The lyrics can be a bit wrong town but the musicianship can be off the charts. This and the following album (!) would easily rate in amongst his best work.
