Works okay, but software is brittle

It took some back-and-forth with both iLok and the plug-in vendor before I could get this to work under Windows 7 with the Ivory II Grand Piano plug-in. First, I couldn't get the driver or iLok application to install, because of complaints that Win7 needed updating when it didn't. That was solved by installing a particular Win7 update that isn't normally included in the automatic updates. They knew about that problem, so it should have been in the iLok FAQ. Then, it didn't work with the plug-in, because the plug-in actually needed the previous version of the iLok driver. Too bad the latest version isn't backward compatible.
