Excellent sharpener

I like wooden pencils, but only if I can sharpen them easily. This sharpener is just the thing to do that. It is quite sturdy and mounts easily with three screws that are included in the box. sharp as a razor

best pencil sharpener i have ever used, rates much higher then 5 stars, more like 11 stars.
some words of advice: be very careful with the pencils you sharpen with this sharpener, they are dangerously sharp, dull them on some scrap paper before allowing any young person use them, do not put them in a pocket, or leave them where someone might sit on them. be careful not to drop them on a bare foot or leg (they will stab you). i bought this for my wood shop, i am building a small wood boat and many of the dimensions on the plans i bought are to the 32nd of an inch. my pencils are now st sharp i can easily mark a line between the 32nd marks on my tape to be accurate to within 1/64th of an inch

Good quality pencil sharpener

I am a graphite artist so sharpening my pencils to a good point without breaking is my main goal. This sharpener does a good job. It is like the sharpeners we had in school when I was a kid. It's not a heavy solid quality like those, but it does a good job regardless. I would definitely recommend if you need to sharpen pencils to a good point and care about minimizing lead breakage. I bought this because I was tired of cheap plastic sharpeners. I am very happy with the quality and it is better than expected. The price is great. Highly recommended. Great Sharpener, Weak Mounting Screws

The sharpener itself is very good, but I had so much trouble with the mounting. The screws included with it stripped easily, so that I couldn't get it installed. Removing them after they were halfway in was worse, because with just a little pressure, part of the base cracked. Luckily, I was able to get it off and then used my own screws to get it mounted. It works great now, but I recommend taking the weak screws into account when choosing a surface for the sharpener. Read full review

Do it yourselves pencil sharpeners work!!!!

It only works well so well . I do a lot pictures in colored pencils . I need sharp pencils to draw with . I love these sharpeners they provide sharp pencils there’s no left over dust or shredded pencils. They make a smooth sharp pencils. Good Sharpener

This will sharpen a wooden pencil very quickly. A touch is needed to get the point needed. I use it for my drawing pencils. A light touch is best for me and that gives a vert sharp point and even on charcoal pencils.Read full review
