Its a great trap, haven't caught the possum yet but that will come.
Had some trouble putting it together but the instructions are clear and easy to follow its just that one wire was a bit wrapped around the plate but when I fixed that all went really well

Good design, below average quality

The design works well, which is the main thing. You will trap critters.
But like most PRC items they took a design then cheaped out on quality. You need to paint the entire trap as soon as you buy it as it will oxidise within a day or two of being wet and then begin to rust. Really poor quality galvanising, might only be nickle plated, not sure. Won't survive a winter uncoated.
Trap door spring is strong which is nice, unfortunately it starts to bend around the latch location as the tensile quality of the wire is not quite sufficient. So you need to tweak it occasionally to make sure it still functions and ensure it is on a fully flat surface or the trap will distort slightly, enough to make it not trigger.
So excellent value for money but you wish they would charge a few bucks more and build it well.Read full review

Easy setup

I had a stray cat continually coming inside my house looking for food. I’ve never had to trap an animal. With the help of a YouTube video I was able to set it up & I successfully trapped the cat for our council to collect. I would definitely recommend this product should you need to trap a small animal. Good but could be better

It's a good product but the assembly clips are not altogether positive to use and as a result trap will distort and trigger arrangement becomes too sensitive to set. Rear flap opening arrangement does not engage positively A couple of cable ties helped those issues and trap has been successful so far.Read full review

Good, easy to assemble. BUT the trap plate has sharp edges unlike the video on their website that says it has rounded edges so the possum doesn’t injure itself.

Good value option but nothing guarantees you will catch these critters...twice trap didn't go off whilst bait was taken. Just ensure you get correct size for what you are trying to catch

Good safe humane trap

Easy to set up and lasts well exposed to weather.
Carry handle with protection plate is handy to avoid bites and scratches from trapped critters.
It would be a small fox to fit in this...suggest you consider bigger unless you know the fox is size of a possum.Read full review
