850 Meter House Block
Im happy 😊 the item took little putting together and started first go. I’ve never had it so good no that I have a self propelled lawn mower.
The downside is it is heavier than I was expecting and the manual has to be downloaded off the web.
The upside is the weight is offset by the fact that it drives itself. I LOVE the water bottle holder (worth it’s weight in gold). The option for rear throw into the catcher or side throw is great as I need them both. I only got the 165cc but for a slightly hilly block it is more then sufficient. A big fuel tank is a blessing that I was not expecting so now I can do the whole yard and still have fuel in the tank.
Did I take a gamble? Yes! Did it pay off? Yes.
I would recommend the lawn mower.
(Image is to confirm it’s not a phoney review)
PS if you wet the driveway and turn the mower sharply while under power it will drift 😉Read full review

Lacking in quality
Bought this lawnmower after some thinking, I remember this being listed at a lower price initially and then the price was increased. Delivery was in the expected time frame by Toll. There was a oil stain on the box probably from some other products in transit.
The lawnmower handles were easy to put on and assembled in no time, the catcher was also easy to put on. Very good feature is the long funnel neck for adding oil to engine, makes it easy without using other funnel and no spilling. Petrol was easy to pour and the tank holds a decent amount. Another great feature is there is no priming required to start as with my old mower. I was well and truly surprised when I pulled the cord to start and was expecting to give a few pulls, but the very first pull and the engine started without an effort! great. Have mowed my lawn and did do a decent job.
Now for the negative bits.. although there is a large handle to lower and raise the height the quality is real bad and it is flimsy making it hard to do it and I am worried it will either bend or break soon. Next, the hole for cut grass to go into catcher is too small and keeps clogging and having to pull the grass out with hands makes it unsafe.Read full review

Mower has potential to be so much better.
From the get go there were issues. Upon opening the carton, I noticed the throttle control handle was broken. I repaired it with plastic glue so that it could be used. For a few extra dollars the throttle handle assembly could of been manufactured out of steel. After finishing the assembly of the mower & filling it up with fuel & oil, it was time to mow the lawn.
That's when I realised something else was wrong. It took 5 - 6 pulls of the starter cord to engage the recoil starter before the engine came to life. While running, the mower seemed to do a decent job of mowing the lawn, the self-propelled feature certainly made the job of mowing a lot easier.
I turned the mower off to empty the catcher & then went to restart the mower, that's when I realised the recoil starter had packed it in.
I pulled on the cord several times, realising that the starter had somehow sheared & was no longer kicking the engine over.
This could be a great mower if they just invest a small amount of money in the above components. I would be willing to spend another $30-40 on the mower to get the above issues sorted.
If this is done, it would certainly be a great mower for under $400.Read full review

Good light duty mower
Easy start, cuts well but does struggle a bit with thick longish couch so it's not a heavy duty mower, but then again, it is only 165cc. Had to adjust the throttle cable so that the engine cut off would engage. The self propel speed is comfortable and mower is light enough to push or pull without engaging self propel if desired.Read full review

Very good mower, great price.
Hi all, I will start by letting you all know about myself, I have been a mechanic for 35 years doing my trade as a Honda mechanic in the early 80’s, these days I project manage large mining equipment. The reason for giving you all my background was to let you know that my review has a lot of experience with it. This mower I purchased is absolutely fantastic to use, for the price I paid the quality of the mower is exceptional. You could easy go to you local hardware or mower shop and pay double and receive nothing better than this mower. Thank you Edison for a great buy.Read full review

Great little mower
Lightweight, easy to start, easy to use, does a nice job of the lawns, the only negative is the hard plastic rear driving wheels will slip on certain surfaces. That being said, it’s a great all round mower and very easy to use.Read full review

Best mower for the price
I was very sceptical at first buying a Chinese made machine but it took very
little time to put together and amazingly started in first pull. Self propell works great, I paid peanuts compared to other name brands which costs an arm and a leg. I am very happy with the lawnmower. Read full review

Sooooo glad I bought this mower. The self propell mechanism has been working hard driving the wheels for nearly 1 year now and still working great. It always starts first pull.
