Robust with good quality clamps
When i received this Charger , first impression was it looks robust, i think it will take a bit of punishment , and you get a little carry bag with it so it will definitely help look after it and keep the dust and dirt away while being stored, the next thing that caught my eye was the quality in the clamps, well insulated and nice strong spring for good electrical contact, the only thing i found negative was that it is advertised for all battery types but there is only 2 batt settings 'Normal' and 'Calcium', i would of expected an AGM selection.Read full review

Cannot fault this charger had it now for about 5 yrs, never let me down. Great for revitalizing old batteries. Have a once dead auto. battery in the shed now for 4yrs still holding charge after an initial 16a charge from the Projecta. Best on the market for the price..Read full review

Compact and easy to use
Have been using this for a while now to either charge or 'regenerate' 12v lead-acid car batteries that had sulfated, after finding about from a friend about this particular model. I like this one for the 24h regeneration mode, as opposed to the 4 hour timeout on another of the Projecta chargers that I have. It remembers the current and battery type settings between power cycles, so I can just turn it on of a morning and it will start charging right away if the battery is connected. It does have an internal cooling fan, and only comes on when it is needed. Battery clips are nice and solid, but the wire could be thicker, although this is only a 16A max charger. I would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.Read full review
